Welcome to TimeEcho. TimeEcho is a time-tracking app based on the Lyubishchev time method, helping users focus on the present, separate work from life, and build long-term discipline.

Apple Health and HealthKit

This section applies to TimeEcho’s health linking feature. General provisions elsewhere in this policy about advertising, analytics, combining data or third-party sharing do not apply to health data. This section takes precedence in case of a conflict.

Data and purposes: Only after you choose to enable linking and grant permission through Apple’s system does TimeEcho read workouts or mindful sessions for the selected category. This includes activity type, start and end times, duration, source and record identifiers used to prevent duplicate imports. We use this information to display available linking options and add new records after linking to the selected habit and its statistics. This feature does not request access to sleep, heart rate or location data and does not write to or modify Apple Health data.

Storage and sharing: Health links, imported records and import identifiers are stored on the current device. TimeEcho’s iCloud sync and cloud backups exclude these health records. We do not upload HealthKit data to developer servers, sell it or use it for advertising, marketing, profiling or third-party analytics. Synchronization of ordinary timers, habits and notes is handled separately from health records.

Your choices and deletion: Health linking is optional; declining permission does not prevent ordinary timing. You can manage or revoke TimeEcho’s read access in Apple Health or system settings, or unlink a habit in TimeEcho to stop future automatic recording. Revoking access or unlinking does not automatically delete records already imported; you can delete them from the records page. Deletion markers and import identifiers may remain locally to prevent duplicate imports. Deleting a record in TimeEcho does not delete the original data in Apple Health.

For help with health data processing, retention or deletion, use the email address in the Contact Us section of this policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we and some partners collect, use, share, and protect information related to our mobile services, website, software provided on TimeEcho or related to TimeEcho services (collectively, the "Services"), and your choices regarding collection/use of your information.

By using our Services, you understand and agree that we provide software for timing and record-keeping through related Services.

Information We Collect

Your habits, time records, journals, notes and attachments support recording, display and statistics. When you enable iCloud sync or backup, eligible ordinary records are processed through Apple iCloud. Health records are handled separately under the HealthKit section. If you email us, we receive the message and contact details you provide to respond to your request.

Analytics Information

The current app version has disabled Umeng analytics and does not report product interaction events to that service. Necessary local diagnostic logs support troubleshooting. If you choose to send diagnostic materials to us, avoid including unnecessary private or health information.

Device Identifiers

The app may use local record identifiers, device sync identifiers and purchase status supplied by Apple to resolve sync conflicts, prevent duplicates and verify membership access. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your bank card details.

These identifiers are not used for advertising tracking or personalized advertisements.
